NOTICE TO ELECTORS FOR COUNCIL NOMINATIONS
Public notice is hereby given to the electors of the Rural Municipality of Victoria that a Municipal Election will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026 to elect One Mayor and Six councillors for the Rural Municipality of Victoria for the term of office terminating on the 6th day of December 2030.
The nomination period for the council positions noted above opens on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Nomination Day, Friday, October 16, 2026.
Nomination forms are available here. Nominations can be received at the election office (730 Victoria Road) at the following times:
October 7 to October 15, from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday, October 16, 2026 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Candidates are responsible for confirming their eligibility to be nominated prior to submitting their nomination form.
The deadline for correcting elector information shall be no later than 11:59 a.m. on October 20, 2026.
